Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, specializing in pediatric respiratory care. Job Details:

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts (Rotating)
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Start Date: 07/20/2026
Required Qualifications:
- 24 months of current Respiratory Therapy experience in a hospital setting
- 36 months of overall Respiratory Therapy experience documented on work history/resume
- EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Iowa Respiratory License (highly preferred; candidates with licensure pending will be considered)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Equipment experience: jet ventilator, Drager Ventilator, Oscillator Ventilator
- Willingness and ability to float across different units throughout the hospital
- NICU experience within the last 18 months and Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months
- Valid drivers license
- References from within the past 24 months (charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, COO)

- The position requires active certifications and recent NICU experience.
- No first-time travelers accepted; must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months.
- Orientation start date is scheduled for 07/20/2026.
