Description

Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift position in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing nuclear medicine techniques. The position offers a supportive environment with no call, weekend, or holiday requirements, and provides an opportunity to work with advanced imaging equipment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB, BLS Certification, two years of experience in nuclear medicine, valid drivers license; location within 50 miles of Omaha, Nebraska
  • Preferred Qualifications: DOT Certification (preferred at original contract, required at extension within 90 days)
  • Additional Information:
    • PET experience required; no state license needed for Nuclear Medicine Technologist position
    • No call, weekends, or holidays required
    • Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas; refusal to remove nails may lead to termination
    • Radiation badge provided by the client
    • Equipment includes Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs; training available for those without prior experience
    • Cancellation policy allows hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
    • Charting system: EPIC
    • Radius rule: Candidate must reside within 50 miles of the facility and cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization, including those affiliated with certain health systems
