Description
Job Summary:
The position of Nuclear Medicine Technologist is based in Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working at a healthcare facility that uses Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs equipment. The technologist will perform imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment and adhere to all clinical policies.
Job Details:
- Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with no call, holidays, or weekends required
- Required Qualifications:
- BLS Certification
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate
- Two years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Driver's license (submission required to determine distance from the facility)
- Ability to work in a radiology environment following SOPs and safety procedures
- Preferred Qualifications:
- DOT Certification (preferred at initial contract, required at extension within 90 days)
- Additional Information:
- Radiation badge provided by the client
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care departments; refusal to remove nails may lead to contract termination
- Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity.
- No experience with specific equipment is required; training is provided if needed
- Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
