Job Summary:
A Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is available in Venice, Florida. This role involves working within invasive cardiology laboratories, including catheterization and electrophysiology labs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position demands a minimum of five years of experience, prior travel experience, and relevant certifications.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Location: Venice, Florida
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience in invasive cardiology labs.
- Prior travel experience.
- Education: AS degree or higher.
- Licensure: Current licensure or registration in the state of Florida through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and a registered cardiovascular technologist certification (RCIS and/or RCES) or radiologic technologist (ARRT).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
- Ability to circulate and scrub as applicable within the cath lab setting.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
- No block scheduling will be accommodated.
- End users should float within the main campus or to the Sarasota Venice Hospital if needed, with ample notice and full shifts.
- The position involves working weekends, holidays, on-call, and emergency calls.
- Circulating or scrubbing as applicable.
- Candidates will be screened by the manager for offer consideration.
