Description

Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in both Computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging is needed in Alexandria, Virginia. This role involves performing a variety of imaging studies in a hospital setting, with primary responsibilities at a dedicated imaging center and secondary coverage at other hospital locations. Candidates are required to bring their Virginia State license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Alexandria, Virginia
  • Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, with PRN (as needed) coverage for weekends, on-call, and holidays as scheduled
  • Required Qualifications: Active Virginia State license, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography), ARRT-R (Radiography) certification, a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a dual modality CT/X-ray technologist role preferred, strong IV skills, proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system, Visage PACs, Siemens CT unit, Philips X-ray unit
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with routine X-ray exams (0-15 studies per day, up to 22 on rare occasions), strong IV skills, flexibility to float as needed, ability to work in multiple hospital areas, excellent knowledge of hospital imaging protocols and safety standards
  • Additional Information: On-call PRN, scheduled work during holidays, and required to have Epic system access. The primary location is an advanced imaging center at the Mark Center, with secondary locations across other hospital sites in Alexandria. Floor-specific orientation provided.
