Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist (Xray Technologist) position is located in Danville, Virginia. This role involves performing diagnostic x-ray exams in a hospital setting and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position is a contract opportunity, with scheduled shifts from Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts. Candidates must meet the required certifications prior to start.

- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, CPR certification, one or more years of experience, ARRT education requirement, and Virginia state licensure.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with diagnostic x-ray exams, familiarity with ER procedures such as MVA, chest pain, abdomen pain, and back pain.
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: Candidates must be at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered. All travelers are required to have the necessary certifications prior to start and consent to random drug screening and complete a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form.
- Clinical Responsibilities: Performing diagnostic x-ray exams, primarily for adult and geriatric patient populations in a Level III trauma department.
- Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; graphic t-shirts are unacceptable.
