Description
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position in Boston, Massachusetts, involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans for diagnostic purposes within a busy healthcare environment. The role requires ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. Candidates must bring their radiologic technologist license on the first day. This position may require working rotating shifts, including Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and additional days as part of a rotating schedule.
Job Details:
- Location: Boston, MA
- Schedule: Monday & Wednesday and rotating day, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, valid Radiologic Technologist State License (generic), ARRT Registered Technologist (ARRT-R), ARRT-CT certification, 3-5 years of experience as a CT technologist in a hospital or imaging center, with 2-3 years of experience in advanced CT procedures such as cardiac CT or trauma imaging. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: ARRT Registered Technologist (ARRT-R), ARRT-CT certification.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting CT equipment, patient positioning, reviewing patient medical history, maintaining documentation, and following infection control and radiation safety protocols. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
