Description
Job Summary
CT Technologist (CT) Novi, Michigan. Performs computerized tomographic (CT) radiological procedures on patients and may perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Under general supervision, the role prepares patients for imaging, reviews clinical data and patient history, operates CT equipment, and supports imaging quality through documentation and appropriate system workflows. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: 4x 10 s, every other weekend; 9:00 PM7:00 AM. Minimum hours per week: 40.0.
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) equivalent; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration with Computed Tomography (CT) advanced registration (or registry-eligible); Basic Life Support (BLS); continued medical education requirements; must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities and standards as outlined by the organization, including communication, ownership, understanding, motivation, sensitivity, excellence, teamwork, respect, and demonstrating customer service values; demonstrates patient-focused AIDET standards (communication, timeliness, positive attitude, fostering innovation, and respecting diversity).

- Additional Information: Performs imaging procedures using radiation protection principles, including appropriate shielding and dose-reduction techniques as needed (ALARA). Administers intravenous contrast media, monitors patients for possible reactions, and provides immediate care if a reaction occurs as appropriate to the study. Resolves image exceptions and ensures high-quality image delivery into Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), and completes study indexing in Radiology Information System (RIS). Reviews and confirms clinical protocols as necessary with the radiologist prior to performing the study. May assist the radiologist with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies. Must have experience with General Electric (GE) and Philips systems; workstation experience is required.
