Description

Job Summary:
A CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist position is available in Seaside, Oregon. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. This role involves operating CT and X-ray imaging equipment in a healthcare facility setting, with responsibilities including performing X-rays and CT exams across a range of clinical areas. The work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, 40 hours per week minimum
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification, ARRT radiography (RB) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Oregon licensure or pending license approval, 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray imaging, experience with Epic electronic medical record system
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing abdominal, head, chest, pelvis, and vascular CT exams, experience with GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba imaging equipment, experience in adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, or trauma settings
  • Additional Information: The candidate must have recent experience with X-rays and CT exams, be able to perform contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety practices, and operate specific imaging equipment. Experience with multiplanar reconstruction and imaging in emergency or outpatient settings is preferred. The provider should have reliable transportation and be prepared for potential float between units or nearby affiliate facilities.
  • Other Requirements: Must answer whether they have previously worked at a relevant healthcare facility as a permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem staff, including location and dates. Vaccination documentation for COVID-19 and flu is required. Candidates should be prepared for holiday coverage including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
  • Facility & Patient Care Details: The role involves working with diverse patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role includes performing X-rays in addition to CT exams, with a strong emphasis on safety and proper imaging procedures.
