Description
Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging for adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients, including procedures such as code stroke and arterial scans. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires a minimum of one year of CT experience and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The ideal candidate will adapt to a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle a high volume of inpatient and outpatient cases.

- Required Qualifications: BLS certification, ARRT-CT certification, 1 year of CT experience, and current license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cardiac experience, Siemens Alpha Photon Counting technology, and procedure experience (not required).
- Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Department provides two days of departmental orientation and two weeks of on-site training on scanners. Scrub color is black; parking is provided in a free employee parking deck.
- Clinical and operational responsibilities include IV starts, patient handling using sliding/ceiling lifts, stroke and arterial scans, routine scans, handling drains, lines, and tubing, administering contrast through peripheral IVs and ports, radiation safety, and effective communication with teammates.
- Support within the department includes work with a CT supervisor, and the department works independently during third shifts.
- Technology and equipment used encompass EPIC electronic medical records, Siemens Flash, Siemens Force, GE Apex Revolution, GE Lightspeed, GE Discovery, Siemens Alpha Photon Counting, and Intellispace PACS.
- Candidates must have skills in inpatient and outpatient imaging, fast-paced workflow management, and strong teamwork abilities.
