Description
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in Bremerton, Washington, within the Emergency Department of a healthcare facility. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) and X-ray imaging exams in a fast-paced emergency environment. Candidates must bring their radiologic technologist license on the first day of work and are required to have at least one year of experience in emergency department imaging.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with additional standby call shifts as needed. The schedule cycle repeats every 4 weeks and is posted in 6-week increments.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification, CT registry eligible, WA Department of Health Radiologic Technologist License, 1 year of emergency department imaging experience, must bring license on first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens XR and Siemens Go series CT scanners, knowledge of MedRad Injector, and experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Additional Information: The unit uses Siemens XR and Siemens Go series CT equipment, along with Canon Portable and MedRad Injector. Floating to other MHS OCEDs may be required for extra shifts. Orientation includes a 2-day departmental training. All travelers will work 75% of holidays.
- Float: Floating: Yes, floating rotation may be required.
