Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Summit, New Jersey. The organization is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care with emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices, as well as support for durable medical equipment supplies. The role also includes assisting with training on the use of inhalers and setting up patients with DME equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift (7a7p), 12 shift hours, minimum 36.0 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RRT or CRT credentials from NRBC; New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program; computer literacy; 1 year of hospital or physician office experience; valid credentials as required for the role.
• Additional Information: The RRT will provide direct patient care services with specific emphasis on pulmonary function testing and initiation of CPAP devices, support requests for continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers, assist in training on the use of inhalers, set up patients with DME equipment, and work closely with physicians.
