Description

Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider to support accurate diagnosis of disease and injury. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Fort Worth, TX
  • Schedule: 4x10s, Tuesday through Friday, 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Certifications/Education/Experience: BLS (American Heart Association) certification, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT, Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
  • Essential functions include performing high-quality CT procedures, explaining procedures to patients, maintaining a calm and professional attitude under stress, administering first aid, and ensuring patient satisfaction. Skills include proper use of patient communication techniques, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, documentation, and the ability to serve as a preceptor. The candidate must be capable of working independently and taking call if required.
  • Additional information: The role demands knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, sterile techniques, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to continued education and high standards of patient care.
