Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in Apple Valley, California. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans in a busy acute care hospital environment. Candidates are required to bring their valid California license on the first day. The position offers flexible scheduling as the candidate must be open to all shift times, including nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Must be open to all shift times, with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand, at least 1 year of relevant CT scanning experience, certifications including BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, and CA CRT, with ARRT CT or ARRT R acceptable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult acute care and outpatient settings, high-volume trauma or emergency department experience, and the ability to perform various specialized scans such as brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and vascular imaging.
• Additional Information: Duties include operating advanced imaging equipment, administering contrast media, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and providing patient care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The department is very busy, with high patient volume and primary stroke receiving capabilities. The facility provides support for transport, and there may be outpatients as well as emergency department patients.
• Certifications & Education Requirements: BLS, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT Certification.
• Experience: 1 year relevant CT experience.
