Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Woodway, Texas. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures within an imaging or CT department. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing high-quality imaging procedures, communicating effectively with patients, and maintaining safety and equipment standards. The position offers an opportunity to work independently while contributing to patient diagnosis and care.
Job Details:
- Location: Woodway, Texas
- Schedule: 4x10s, Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM 12:00 AM, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (AHA Only), ARRT (Registered), ARRT (CT); educational background and licensing as per state requirements; a minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to explain procedures and ease patient concerns, maintain professionalism under stress, administer first aid, and serve as a preceptor for new team members.
- Additional Information: The role emphasizes maintaining current skills and continuing education, providing courteous service to limit wait times, and ensuring patient and staff safety in compliance with established standards. The position involves working independently and may include taking call duties.
