Job Summary:
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
A position for a CT Technologist is available in the healthcare organization. The role involves performing routine diagnostic CT scans, with a focus on head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and biopsy or drainage procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Position: CT Technologist
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, call required
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration; current New Mexico general radiographer license (temporary or permanent); CT licenses for New Mexico; 3+ years of experience in diagnostic CT scanning; graduate of an accredited AMA school
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, cross-sectional anatomy
- Additional Information: Only candidates registered with the state of New Mexico for fingerprinting will be considered, as the process can take several weeks. No option for blocked scheduling. EMR system: MedHost. No floating required. Maximum RTO: 3 days. The scope of role includes performing CT scans and daily equipment quality control.
