Description
Job Summary:
This MRI Technologist position is located in Oklahoma City. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations under the supervision of the MRI Supervisor and Radiologist, utilizing established protocols to obtain diagnostic images. The position offers a schedule of three night shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a start date of 07/06/2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Shift: Nights (3x12) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: MRI Technologist certification or registration, proficiency with MRI procedures, familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system, and at least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Under the supervision of the MRI Supervisor and Radiologist, perform MRI examinations utilizing established protocols of technical factors, patient positioning, and computer manipulation. Prepare and administer contrast agents for examinations as outlined by MRI protocols. Instruct patients on special requirements and provide explanations of procedures. Ensure accuracy and completeness of requisitions, PACs, and all associated computer system functions. Perform Continuous Quality Improvement functions as assigned. Demonstrate knowledge of needs and behaviors of specific age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Complete all posted daily MRI technologist responsibilities and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
