Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Boston, Massachusetts
A Respiratory Therapist Registered position is available to support Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Special Care Nursery care in a birthing hospital setting. The role involves performing and interpreting tests and procedures, managing respiratory care protocols, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the broader healthcare team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights/rotating nights; 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; Respiratory Therapist experience of 2+ years (related work experience); Basic Life Support (CPR-AHA); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); certification to manage artificial airways and mechanical ventilation; ability to administer aerosolized medications and provide oxygen therapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Delivery room experience.
- Additional Information: Rotating schedule may be required (including an every-three-week rotation pattern). Start date is 07/13/2026. Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday).
