Job Summary
CT Technologist (CT) Valparaiso, Indiana
This position supports diagnostic imaging needs in a 10-bed fast-paced environment, providing both CT and X-ray (XR) services across assigned areas. The CT Technologist will work independently during overnight hours and will collaborate with an XR technologist earlier in the shift. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights 7P-7A, Friday through Sunday; 36.0 hours per week (12 shift hours)
Required Qualifications: Current AART (R)(CT) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 12 years of CT and XR experience with proficiency in CT and XR; proficiency with GE CT scanner, Philips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, and MedRad contrast injector; proficiency with Cerner is preferred; ability to provide required documentation at submission including required license and certifications (and any requested identification information)
Preferred Qualifications: Cerner EMR experience
Additional Information: Will cover CT/XR responsibilities for overnight imaging needs, including responsibility for X-ray coverage in the inpatient rehab unit and additional units with lower imaging volume. Protocol books for scans are available and kept up to date in the scanner. Call requirements: none. Block scheduling: not an option.
