Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) Aurora, CO
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab. The role will perform scrubbing and monitoring tasks for a variety of diagnostic and interventional cases, working as part of a high-functioning team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift 6:30 to 5:30, 10 shift hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Education/Training: ARRT (R) certification; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
- Clinical Experience: Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Licensure/Registration: Ability to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) before starting work if holding RCIS or RCES
- Preferred Qualifications:
- ARRT (CI) or ARRT (CV)
- Scrubbing and monitoring skills and experience
- Prior Meditech experience
- Additional Information:
- Call schedule is a rotating schedule with two weekends and 912 days of call in a 6-week period
- Typical procedures include LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, and tilt table tests, along with EP/structural heart/monitoring support and right heart monitoring
