Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Miami, Florida. The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Registered to support Respiratory NICU/PICU services, providing treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced technologies and medication delivery. Candidates must be available for an established schedule and are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 2 years of current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience; current NICU/PICU experience; Meditech experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with prior Meditech experience.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory treatments, care, and evaluation for NICU/PICU patients with respiratory conditions.
- Utilize advanced respiratory therapies and medication delivery methods as part of patient care.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary care environment with a team-focused, patient-centered approach.
- Additional Information:
- Unit may provide coverage for regular adult floors for therapies such as nebulizer therapy, Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP), and Chest Percussion Therapy (CPT).
- Equipment includes high-flow devices, High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers.
- Documentation system: Meditech.
- Dress code: light gray uniform attire (also known as silver).
- Start date: 07/20/2026.
- Certifications/License Submission: Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
