Description
Job Summary: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) Santa Monica, California
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports a STEMI and stroke receiving center performing diagnostic and interventional procedures across multiple specialty areas. Responsibilities include assisting with catheterization-related procedures and providing accurate monitoring during complex cardiovascular and related interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Radiation Safety Certification (ARRT) (will take ARRT registration process as applicable); Fluoroscopy Permit; state license; minimum of 1 year of acute care experience in Cath Lab.
- Preferred Qualifications: Stroke and interventional radiology (IR) experience.
- On-Call: On-call required. Weekdays: 5:30 PM7:00 AM; weekends/holidays: 7:00 AM7:00 AM, with 1014 call shifts within a 42-day schedule.
- Additional Information: STEMI and stroke receiving center; 4 labs. Supports cardiac, electrophysiology (EP), VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures, including TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR. Float between specialties in the lab may be required.
