Description

Job Summary: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Lafayette, Indiana.
The organization is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to support an ICU, Med Surg, ER, and NICU environment. The role includes managing respiratory therapies for patients with high acuity needs, including ventilator and high-flow support, while assisting with intubations and bedside procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days; 6:00 PM6:30 AM; 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Level III NICU-NRP certification; acute care experience with Med Surg, ER, and ICU; experience managing BiPAPs, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units; experience assisting with intubations and bedside bronchoscopies; proficient Electronic Medical Record (EMR) charting.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with Level III unit NICU skills will be considered first.
Additional Information: The schedule includes weekends, with coverage every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Shift staffing for days requires a minimum of 56 staff, and nights require a minimum of 44.5 staff.
