Description
CT Technologist (CT) Laurium, Michigan
A CT Technologist is needed to perform all general and CT imaging exams and support radiologist-assisted procedures while maintaining strong patient care standards. The role follows a rotating shift schedule with day shifts primarily, plus potential afternoon availability, and includes weekday on-call responsibilities and weekend/holiday participation as applicable. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shift with an 8-hour shift length and a minimum of 40 hours per week. Day shift is mainly scheduled with afternoon possible.
- On Call: Day on-call during the week, plus Friday and Saturday, with an estimated 30-minute response time; may be required depending on unit needs.
- Weekends: Yes, required possible every 5th weekend.
- Holidays: Possibly depending on length of contract.
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate; ARRT (R) (CT); Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certification; ability to perform all general and CT exams; clinical charting experience preferred with Epic.
- Preferred Qualifications: Radiology charting experience with Epic preferred.
- Additional Information:
- Participation in radiologist-assisted procedures is required; training may be provided for these types of exams.
- Flu and COVID vaccination policy may apply during flu season; noncompliance may result in corrective action.
- Guaranteed set hours per week apply, except during holidays when the unit is closed.
- Contract eligibility includes low census unbillable hours, and on-call hours placed during low census may count toward those hours; call back would have a minimum call back duration as stated by the role.
- Travelers may be assigned on-call for low census hours.
