Description
Job Summary: MRI Technologist (MRI) Michigan City, Indiana
The MRI Technologist supports imaging services within the Imaging Department, performing MRI procedures and ensuring quality patient care. This role operates on an evening schedule with occasional day shift coverage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings shift from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with occasional day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; weekends approximately every four weeks; call requirements approximately every four weeks. Minimum hours per week: 40.
- Required Qualifications:
- MRI Technologist certification/credential: MRI Technologist (ARRT-M or AMRIT)
- License: required to be brought on the first day
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of MRI experience in a hospital setting
- Additional Information:
- Performs all MRI procedures per department needs
- Uses GE and Hitachi MRI equipment
- Electronic medical record: EPIC
