Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) position available in Portland, Maine. The role involves providing advanced respiratory care within a busy facility requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. This is a night shift position with a schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in tertiary, teaching hospital environments, with proficiency across a variety of acute and critical care settings, including NICU, PICU, ED, and adult critical care.
Job Details:
- Location: Portland, Maine

- Shift: 7PM-7:30AM, 36 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred; NRP certification required for NICU; Respiratory Therapist (RT) licensed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as ACLS and NRP are desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in tertiary, teaching hospital environments, including level 1 trauma, NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department (ED), and adult acute and critical care.
- Additional Information: One position available as a replacement for permanent staff. The facility utilizes EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Flexibility and strong communication skills are highly valued in candidates.
