Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for a facility located in Hudson, FL. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in a busy imaging department. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative team, providing excellent patient care in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shifts are 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid MRI Technologist certification, appropriate educational background in radiologic technology, current Florida licensure, at least 1 year of MRI experience, and the ability to work independently with Radiologist consultation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to adapt protocols for patient or physician needs and willingness to learn new software applications.
• Unit Information:
  • Location: Imaging department on the first floor of the main hospital building
  • Bed Capacity: 309 beds
  • MR Equipment: GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T MRI scanner
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Typical Procedures: Neuro exams including MRA's, MRI of the head, neck, and spine; abdominal exams including MRCP's and MRA's; MSK exams including extremities and arthrograms
• Additional Information:
  • The department is planning a software upgrade from GE 23X to GE 30X with AirDL for faster scans and new sequences.
  • Future department growth will include acquiring a second scanner and expanding the team.
  • Shifts are scheduled Saturday through Monday, with on-call 1-2 days in rotation.
  • Traveler scheduling aligns with facility policy, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotation basis.
