Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Connecticut (CT) Technologist for a night shift position in Seattle, Washington. This role involves working independently during a busy overnight shift in an emergency department setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-acuity patient care with a focus on adult and occasional pediatric cases.

Job Details:

  • Location: Seattle, Washington
  • Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), Friday through Sunday, with a schedule of 36 hours per week.
  • Certifications: ARRT Radiologic Technologist (RT), ARRT CT, Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Washington (WA) license, 2 years of experience preferred; 1 year of experience acceptable if the candidate has trauma or high-acuity center experience.
  • Additional Information: Must have the ability to work independently during solo overnight shifts in a busy environment. On-call availability is voluntary but appreciated. The CT scanner is located in the emergency department, and the role involves various advanced imaging procedures including abdominal, brain perfusion, cervical, chest, head, lumbar, pelvis, thoracic, and vascular CT scans. Experience with administration of contrast media and PACS is required.
  • Special Equipment & Skills: Geographic-specific equipment including Siemens and GE scanners, experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and starting peripheral IVs.
  • Patient Population: Adults primarily, with occasional pediatric cases. Caseload averages around 25 cases per day.
  • Additional Requirements: Submission of two references covering one year (or six months for CNAs) within the last three years prior to start.
