Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Beaumont, Texas. This position involves performing a wide variety of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role demands flexibility to work other shifts and/or at different campuses as needed to support patient flow and departmental operations.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Experience: 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred. Basic computer experience required.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• Certifications: Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB ( Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) required.
• Licensure: State licensure in Texas required; MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) by TMBB (Texas Medical Board) required.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required (AHA only).
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 10 hours shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Caseload: Heavy at the moment; must work until every case is completed for the day.
• On-call/Weekends: Not required.
• Number of Positions: 1
• Additional Information: The position entails managing a heavy workload with the necessity for troubleshooting basic equipment issues, maintaining quality assurance, and ensuring safety protocols. The technologist must participate in ongoing education and maintain imaging competencies as outlined by management.
