Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is located in Beaumont, Texas. This full-time role involves performing a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures in a busy healthcare environment. The technologist will support other imaging staff as needed and help facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. Flexibility to work various shifts and possibly at multiple campuses is required to meet the department's needs. The position requires on-call and weekend shifts, typically every second or third weekend.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent, 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred, basic computer skills required, Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) certification by ARR and NMTCB, State licensure required (Texas: MRT by TMBB), BLS certification (AHA only)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves heavy caseload management, including troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, maintaining safety protocols for radiation and personnel, and participating in ongoing education and quality assurance activities. The technologist must adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards of care, and demonstrate strong behavior and communication skills aligned with the organizations mission and values.
