Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory technologist position is located in a northwest metropolitan area. The role involves supporting a busy cardiac catheterization lab performing advanced cardiovascular procedures. The technologist will work within a team dedicated to patient care and procedural excellence, contributing to a top-performing hospital recognized for stroke and surgical services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Candidates must have the competence in Special Procedures and GE Innova systems. No experience requirements are specified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification will be considered first.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit features four rooms with one patient per room and a staff of 22 including registered nurses and technicians. Procedures performed include Cardiac Catheterizations, Cerebral angiograms, and stent placements. A team player with a patient care focus, critical thinking skills, and flexibility is essential. Dress code includes unit scrubs with specific colors for Cath and EP labs. The department is known for outstanding awards and its role as a certified primary stroke center and top-performing surgical unit.
