Job Summary:
The location is Jackson, Michigan. The position is for an X-ray Technologist specializing as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. The role involves performing computerized tomography scans, preparing patients, administering contrast media, and ensuring image quality. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent; BLS certification; must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible; at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, with prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and independently; must maintain required hours of continued medical education.

• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves patient preparation, clinical data review, CT scan operation, intravenous contrast media administration, sterile equipment setup, and adherence to radiation protection principles. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, customer service skills, and the ability to operate CT imaging equipment independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
