Description
Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position available in Lewiston, Maine. The ultrasonographer will perform routine and specialized vascular sonographic examinations, support clinical assessments, and ensure accurate documentation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Lewiston, ME
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree preferred, graduate of ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) school of sonography, license in the State of Maine, ARDMS registration required, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional Information: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation. The organization has the right to cancel up to three shifts within a 13-week contract. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius.
- Responsibilities include maintaining pertinent records and electronic medical record (EMR) documentation, processing forms, and ensuring accurate patient scheduling and imaging documentation.
