Description
Job Summary:
Moses Lake, Washington A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is needed to support the organizations imaging services. The role requires adherence to clinical protocols and safe patient handling while performing CT procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, Friday through Sunday, with on-call every Thursday night and every 8 weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT(R) CT), Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification to be completed within three months of hire, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves technical expertise in automatic exposure control, technical factors, proper positioning, patient safety, contrast administration, and equipment operation. The technologist will act as a mentor to students and maintain professional growth through seminars, workshops, and affiliations. Safe work practices and compliance with policies are essential. The position may include up to 24 hours of call-off at no cost to the facility.
