Job Summary:
The Mammography Technologist is based in Craig, Colorado, and plays a critical role in the quality and efficient completion of mammography procedures for diagnostic interpretation. This position involves providing patient education, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Craig, Colorado
• Shift Hours: 12-hour days
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M); Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire or transfer); must be at least 18 years of age; must be legally authorized to work in the United States; able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and breath alcohol test; must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, and MRI technologist; experience with electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS; cross-trained into other modalities such as CT, MRI, or DEXA.
• Additional Information: Responsible for the daily operation of the womens health section of radiology. Performs mammography imaging procedures, practices radiation safety per ALARA standards, maintains accurate patient records, assists in staff training, manages supply inventory, and demonstrates flexibility in duties and schedule.
