A licensed Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient care is sought for a travel assignment in Roswell, New Mexico. This role involves providing physical therapy services in various settings, including acute and outpatient facilities, with a focus on acute and orthopedic rehabilitation. The candidate must bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Roswell, NM
- Specialty: Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP)
- Shift: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid NM Physical Therapist (PT) license (pending licenses can be considered if the license results before the start date); DPT degree preferred; at least 1 year of inpatient experience outside of student clinicals; ability to work independently; competency in CMS skilled criteria and medical necessity guidelines; experience in acute and orthopedic rehabilitation; familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system; US-based licensure in each state practice occurs.
- Preferred Qualifications: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT); experience with CMS skilled criteria; acute and ortho experience.
- Additional Information: Hybrid coverage of acute and ambulatory rehab; occasional weekend coverage based on hospital needs; floating as needed; no call required; Scrub Color: Green; fingerprints required for all NM travelers.
