Description
Job Summary:
A qualified CT Technologist located in Golden, Colorado, is sought to perform a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires the utilization of technical skill, initiative, and independent judgment to produce high-quality imaging. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, 09:30 AM to 10:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree; ARRT (R) certification in Radiologic Technology; ARRT (CT) certification; BLS (AHA) certification; licensure in the state of Colorado or applicable jurisdiction; 1-2 years of CT and acute care experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: One (1) to two (2) years of CT experience in a hospital setting.
- Demonstrates understanding of sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning competency.
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and understanding protocols related to contrast administration, including contrast injector operation.
- Knowledge of electronic imaging, image transfer, and manipulation.
- Ability to respond appropriately to emergent patient situations, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Able to prioritize tasks and maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
- Assists and instructs students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols and procedures.
- All candidates must hold current ARRT (R) certification, ARRT (CT) certification, and BLS certification.
Additional Information:
Performing CT procedures in accordance with department protocols, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records are essential components of this role. Candidates must be able to stay current with advancements in CT technology through continuing education and professional development.
