Job Summary:
The Xray Technologist is based in Hackensack, New Jersey, and is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves working independently in emergency room and trauma settings, with a focus on acute care procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Hackensack, NJ
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts; 5x8 schedule from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, open to 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM; every third weekend and holiday required; no on-call responsibilities
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; completion of clinical and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) requirements; must possess New Jersey State License; applicant must meet requirements for the National Registry and pass the relevant examination; minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working independently in emergency room and trauma settings; OR (Operating Room) experience; portable imaging experience; pediatric (Peds) imaging experience
• Additional Information: Candidate must be able to work independently in emergency and trauma areas; experience with OR procedures, portable radiography, and pediatric imaging highly preferred; ability to lift minimum 5 lbs., push-pull minimum 10 lbs., and stand for at least 6 hours a day
