Description

Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Jacksonville, Florida. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves working within a dedicated emergency department unit that performs computed tomography (CT) imaging. The position offers an opportunity to utilize advanced equipment and technology in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) and ARRT (Computed Tomography) licenses, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of relevant experience preferred, with certification and education requirements including ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and CPR
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CT scans for stroke patients, proficiency in X-ray and CT post-processing, familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records and GE Centricity PACS
Additional Information: The unit utilizes GE Tempo, GE Maxima CT, and AMX equipment. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism and empathy when interacting with patients. No specific floating requirements; candidates may be asked to pick up extra shifts at other facility locations.
