Description

Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time outpatient position involves assessing and treating neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems through physical or mechanical means to restore or maintain function impaired by injury or disease. The therapist will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary teams, and oversee therapeutic modalities to promote patient recovery and mobility.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure, BLS certification from AHA, Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy, 1 year of experience, and ability to work full-time.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills.
  • Additional Information: The position is a backfill replacement for a prior therapist, requiring the delivery of outpatient physical therapy services, including evaluation, treatment, and patient education. The therapist will supervise and oversee PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants, maintain accurate treatment documentation, and participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
