Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Ultrasonographer Echo (Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) for a position in Gardner, Massachusetts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves performing cardiac diagnostic imaging procedures, reviewing medical histories, and collaborating with cardiologists to provide comprehensive patient care.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; formal training from an accredited medical sonography program specializing in cardiac sonography; credentialed by the ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (AE); current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least five years of experience credentialed by RDCS AE for five years.
• Preferred Qualifications: Good computer, verbal, and written skills.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to introduce self and identify patients, review medical histories, perform cardiac diagnostic imaging, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. The position may include assisting during transesophageal echocardiograms, operating stress testing equipment, and performing electrocardiograms. Candidates must be familiar with JCAHO guidelines and echo PACS system, as well as responsible for equipment maintenance and supplies.
