Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatrics (PEDS) in Des Moines, Iowa. This position involves providing patient care during night shifts, with scheduled hours of 12 hours per shift. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license, Bachelors degree or equivalent in respiratory therapy, and at least one year of experience in respiratory care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric respiratory experience and additional certifications such as NEA (Emergency Nurses Association) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating pediatric patients requiring respiratory support. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts. Candidates must be able to adhere to all hospital protocols and safety guidelines, including SOPs and AHA (American Heart Association) standards.
