Description

Job Summary:
An Ultrasound Technologist specializing in generalized ultrasonography is sought for a healthcare organization located in Washington, DC. This position involves performing ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various disease states. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role entails working nights, with a shift from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Friday through Sunday.

Job Details:

Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Friday through Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent; diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology; at least 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist; active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Ultrasound Tech license; current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Qualifications: Baccalaureate or master's degree in Healthcare; experience as a Lead Ultrasound Technologist
Additional Information: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility; the position requires performing ultrasound procedures and related equipment quality control while maintaining proper documentation
