Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift weekend contract at an academic medical center in Washington, D.C.
Details
- 13-week contract at an academic medical center in Washington, D.C.
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday
- 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts
- Performs ultrasound procedures and produces diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a U.S. hospital required
- Active ARRT (Ultrasound) certification required; no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma from an accredited radiologic technology program required
- BS or MS in Healthcare preferred
- Lead Ultrasound Technologist experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- U.S. SSN required
- Date of birth required for consideration
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Performs ultrasound procedures using related techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease states
- Maintains required records in accordance with regulatory and accreditation agency standards
- Performs equipment quality control procedures and reports deficiencies to a supervisor
- CPI certification is mandated for this position
