Description
Job Summary:
This position is for a CT Radiologic Technologist located in Oakes, North Dakota. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves performing both general radiography and computed tomography (CT) procedures in a rural hospital setting. The schedule consists of four days per week with rotating call responsibilities during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Details:
- Location: Oakes, North Dakota
- Schedule: Four days per week, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, with rotating call on nights, weekends, and holidays
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R), and licensure to submit. Valid license required for application.
- Responsibilities: Performing general x-ray exams including pain exams with a C-arm, and CT scans. Sending studies to the radiologist for interpretation and completing all necessary paperwork. Handling approximately 20 exams per day during weekdays.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to cover both CT and general x-ray areas.
- Additional Information: Must adhere to radius rule of 50 miles; candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization within the past year. Tenure includes 4-8 shifts of orientation or until comfortable to take call independently. No in-house radiologist or radiology supervisor on each shift.
- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Experience: Must have both X-ray and CT experience; flexible on years of experience, with at least 1 year of experience preferred. No prior travel experience required but preferred.
- EMR and PACS: McKesson PACS and MediTech systems are used for imaging and charting.
- Shift Notes: Days for four shifts per week with rotating nights, weekends, and holidays; on-call shifts included.
- Additional Requirements: RTO needed upfront, with no additional approvals, and hospital cancellations up to four shifts per 13-week assignment are permitted.
