Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Fort Madison, Iowa. This role involves preparing patients for examinations, positioning patients based on physician orders, and operating computed tomography (CT) equipment and accessories. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires working independently on Fridays through Sundays, performing both CT and X-ray procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
• Schedule: Nights; Friday - Sunday, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in radiologic technology, relevant education, and licensure as a CT Technologist; Epic EMR experience within the last twelve (12) months; no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE CT equipment and Philips X-ray units, proficiency in CT procedures and protocols, and familiarity with PACS and radiation protection
• Additional Information: Position requires competency in general anatomy, technical factors, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation safety principles, basic computer skills, and experience operating CT fluoroscopy and power injectors as needed. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of image quality production for diagnostic purposes and provide patient care and safety for diverse populations.
