Description

Job Summary:
A position for a CT Technologist is available in Charleston, South Carolina. This role involves performing computerized tomography (CT) scans under the supervision of licensed radiologists to assist in diagnosing patient conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining patient safety and care throughout imaging procedures and must bring their professional license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Schedule: Nights shift, working Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; successful completion of an accredited Computed Tomography (CT) Program; current certification in Radiologic Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or current RSFH teammate with a health-related certification from SCRQSA; current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card; one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Professionals school; ARRT registration in CT preferred
Additional Information: This is an 8-week contract position requiring frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential radiation and infectious materials. Flexibility for call, weekend, and holiday work may be necessary. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, good communication, and adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Certifications: ARRT (preferred), BLS required
