Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) and general radiology (X-ray) is needed at a critical access facility located in Woodstock, Virginia. The position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of orientation.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (3x12s), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited Radiology Technology program, ARRT Certification, Virginia License, BLS certification (AHA only), 3 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT and general radiography, with preferred experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting
• Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of staff Radiologic Technologist experience, specific skills and experience outlined above

• Additional Information: The technologist will perform CT and X-ray examinations, including portable procedures, adhering to safety policies, preparing equipment, explaining procedures to patients, and assisting physicians with invasive procedures when necessary. They will accurately document procedures and resource usage, ensure safety protocols, and participate in continuing education to maintain current competency. Knowledge of human growth and development, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology is required. Attention to detail and the ability to work under stress are essential.
