Description
Job Summary:
A credentialed MRI Technologist located in Alexandria, Louisiana, is sought for an immediate full-time position at an organization. The role involves performing routine and advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, supporting other imaging staff, and ensuring smooth patient flow. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT; graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology school or approved equivalent; current state licensure if in New Mexico; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via American Heart Association (AHA); 0 years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Additional Information: On-call requirements; every other weekend work; ability to troubleshoot equipment and participate in quality assurance activities; flexibility to work other shifts or campuses as needed; performance of screening and safety procedures for patients and staff; adherence to imaging protocols, standards, and confidentiality policies.
- Position Type: Full Time, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
