Job Summary:
A maternal-fetal ultrasound technologist position is available in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role involves assisting radiologists with invasive diagnostic procedures related to maternal-fetal ultrasound processes, providing training to residents, and performing comprehensive ultrasound exams including detailed anatomical evaluations, fetal echocardiograms, growth assessments, and fetal wellbeing assessments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification; must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in OB and OB GYN specialty areas; three (3) years of experience performing complex obstetrics/gynecology or vascular scans.
• Preferred Qualifications: Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification.
• Additional Information: The role requires performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures, analyzing sonography findings, and assisting with invasive procedures as needed. Candidates should have experience with detailed anatomical evaluations, fetal echocardiograms, growth assessments, fetal wellbeing assessments, Doppler imaging, advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques, and patient consultation.
• Schedule: 4 x 10's-Monday through Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. No float rotation is specified.
