Description

Job Summary
A Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in Houston, Texas. This role involves working in a Level I Trauma Unit performing cardiac catheterizations, occasional electrophysiology procedures, and interventional radiology cases. The technologist will support a busy department with a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, primarily working day shifts.

Job Details

  • Location: Houston, TX
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/31/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; valid license to submit; no specific degree required; location in Houston, TX
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level I Trauma setting; familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system; ability to work 3 days per month on call, with 4-5 call shifts per month and one weekend per month
  • Schedule: 4x10-hour days, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Additional Information: The unit performs approximately 40-50 cases daily, including cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology procedures. The position includes on-call requirements and access to parking options ranging from $15+ daily to monthly passes for off-campus garages.
