Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Technologist position located in Santa Maria, California. This role involves working in a fast-paced cath lab and IR suites, supporting a variety of complex procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on their first day. The position offers 8-hour shifts with self-scheduling options from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a shift from 3:30 pm to 7:00 am.
Job Details:
- Location: Santa Maria, California
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts (5), with self-scheduling hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; shift hours are 3:30 pm to 7:00 am
- Required Qualifications: Current license to submit; certifications including ACLS, BLS, and Fluoroscopy; minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory or Interventional Radiology settings. Emtrav experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience preferred
- Call: Call is required; response time is 30 minutes. Call team includes one nurse and two techs. Call coverage may include weekends and holidays, with the option to work holidays.
- Additional Information: Call would be required; holiday work is optional.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Fluoroscopy
- Duration: Start date 07/20/2026; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Experience: 0 years minimum required; 2 years experience in Cath Lab/IR preferred
- Shift: 8-hour shifts (5 per week)
- Equipment: Cerner EMR; Philips Vents
- Patient Procedures: Venous placement, port-a-cath, fistula, biliary tube, neph tube, IVC filter, L & R caths, ST-elevation myocardial infarctions, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, pacemakers, carotids, peripheral interventions, ablations, device placements
- Additional Notes: EP lab experience is preferred for travelers; float between IR, cath lab, and electrophysiology lab may be required; floor-specific orientation typically lasts one week.
